Hypno Birthing

Hi everyone,

Been reading a little about the use of hypnosis for pain relief, has anyone else used this tech before and how successful was it?

After a horrible 23 1/2 hr first labour after being induced looking for a different approach this time round. I want the birthing experience that I wanted the first time but did not get.

Hypnobirth (or Calmbirth) doesn't take the pain away like drugs do, but they help you approach your birth in a much calmer, more natural way which helps minimise the pain and focus your attention on letting your body do what it is perfectly designed to do!

If things didn't go well the first time, by all means look into H/CB (I started by reading the book from the local Library) - it will completely change the way you perceive what birth should be :)
