Is there anything at all my bub should be doing by now..

He is 4 months (just) and should be 10-12 weeks old..(based on 38-40 weeks)

Anyway he smiles but doesnt not have much head control at all.. Wont lift his head up on his belly
He doesnt rellay coo or anything

I see a video of a four month old saying buba today.. Now I dont expect him to do this but he doesnt even make noise unless his crying..

What should he be doing?

I know not to compare or whatever but i am pretty sure he should be starting to lift his head..

As a guide, he should doing things by his corrected age.

My 3 are 4 month actual/5weeks correct & are far from doing things by actual age.

i dont expect him to do things by his real age but not sure what he should be doing corrected..

Just had a bit of a look around he is reaching out to his toy bar and hitting it and looks at you intently if your talking...

Maybe this is good..

That is really good.

All milestones, like head controle, crawling, walking should be guided by corrected age. If your worried, maybe it might be worth a trip to the pead.

Dont get too hung up on it.
It's a guidline premmie bub's are a bit different to full term bubs, always go by corrected age not DOB age and dont be suprised if his lacks behind to start off with he has to catch up so to speak.
My ds was 38weeks (term) he held his head up and turned it around on his own as soon as he came out (was kinda freaky lol) did everything on time right on the charts iykwim he was never ahead, never behind.
DD is a 33 weeker and she was lagging behind (even for corrected age) couldnt hold her head up til 5 months (corrected) then at 8ish months she started camando crawling, then walking around holding on to stuff at 11months, now at 14months she is all over the furniture into everything and a complete daredevil.
I think your little one sounds fine and if he looks at you when your talking thats good as is trying to get at stuff dd didn't do this till she could grab the stuff and distroy
When they hit a year is when I pay more attention in regards to milestones then you can tell if their behind (in some areas) or it's a catch up thing.
Just noticed the babble thing dd didn't make much noise only when she hit 10-11 months now you can't shut her up :ecomcity::ecomcity:
