I had my first ectopic pregnancy in June 09 and my Right fallopian tube was removed. My husband and i were devestated. I was told that my Left tube looked perfectly normal and healthy and i wouldn't have any problems next time i was to fall pregnant.
To my surprise i had a positive pregnancy test at the end of August 09 and i was excited and nervous. i had my first ultrasound at 5 weeks because of my previous ectopic and nothing was seen at this ultrasound.
They thought it may have been too early at this stage. I had a blood test to see my hcg levels and another 4 days later My levels had trippled which was a fantastic sign. I was told to come in for another ultrasound on fri 11/9 to make sure eveyrthing was going well. Because i hadnt had any bleeding or cramping i was postive there would only be good news.
When i was told i was having another ectopic pregnancy i was shocked. I was rushed into Emergency and my left tube was removed. To make things worse i was told that there were 2 little ones in there.
At the moment i am still healing from the surgery and trying to keep positive. I will be trying IVF as this is our only hope of ever having any children. I hope to meet lots of other women who have had success with IVF. Good luck to everyone!

Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well! Just wanted to update and let you all know that i am now 6 weeks pregnant after our first IVF cycle. I am still a little nervous and anxious but i just wanted to give those ladies without tubes the hope that you can still fall pregnant!! We have our first scan on the 8th Feb and i will be 7 weeks 2 days. Please God make this one a sticky one!
