do you have a nappy wrapper? do you use it as a normal bin without the special cassette? do you use it with the special cassette? do you like it and think it is easier to use? is it less smelly?

The new cassettes are much better than the previous ones. I still clean it every 2nd day, use a shopping bag as a liner and spray it inside and out with Pine-O-Cleen at every clean though.
With the new cassettes, I find it excellent. I used to hate it.
i bought a nappy wrapper when I had my boy and it hardly got used.
I hope thay have improved the cassettes.

I couldn't justify the money for a nappy wrapper thingy. For less than $10 I bought a basic plastic garbage pail and used that. It has a foot pedal to lift the lid so it's hands free, I line it for free with shopping bags, and very easy to clean & disinfect. I never had a problem with smell and didn't even bother with nappy bags. You do have to empty it daily though.

I havent got one but Im thinking of getting one for my next baby.
Yes I have one I LOVE IT....I live in a small unit so it's great I empty it every three days, and buy the cassettes in bulk from babies galore.
My MIL bought ours for us and each week in the shopping bought a cassette to go with it,so we use it and havent had to pay a cent but i will continue to use it,its fantastic.

My DD is 12 months now and we still love it and use it but it does need a good clean at least weekly and we spray disinfectant in there when we clean it....

Hi i have one and love it. Originally i was using the cassette's with it but since we live in a small country town it is very hard to find them and expensive when you ddo find them. I have always lined the bin with a glad lavender small garbage bin for bathrooms- they fit perfectly and smell great. This made it easier to empty the 'sausages' as dh called them. Now i just use ordinary nappy bags and put them in it if i can't get a hold of the cassette's. Works a treat and so much more cheaper!!! I empty about once every three days and wash out with detergent and then wipe down with disinfectant. Every day i give Oli's room a wipe down with disinfectant so do the outside of the bin as well. I think it's well worth the investment

That is exactly what I use, its in DD's room, it has a lid, so she can't get into it, doesn't smell, I clean/disinfect weekly and its emptied every 1-2 days. I thought the nappy wrappers seemed like a gimmick and waste of money (sorry JMO).

I have one and love it but I can't justify spending the money on the cassettes. Now I just used Nappy Sacks and put #1's in the kitchen bin and #2's in the outside wheelie bin.
I find that the new cassettes don't last as long as the old ones used to. Has anyone else found that?

 i use mine with the cassette because it traps all the yucky smells in the bucket part.. I actually think it's a brilliant idea and i wish i thought of it :detective:
I would deffinalty recommend it to ppl as it's not like you use it for a few months then thats it.. you use it right up until the baby/child is out of nappies then you can use it for something else. Dunno what but i'm sure there's something. I've used mine through 3 babies and it's great
