Can I do It Myself???

I'm looking at invitations for our engagement party and REALLY like the type that are printed as a photo at any photo printing outlet.

There are LOTS of templates for sale on Ebay! I guess they have been made using photoshop but I'm not 100% sure.

My Q is...could I make one of these templates myself without having to buy it off Ebay?

If so what software would I use? Could I download a free trial of this software to make the invites?

I don't know, Amy - but I thought I'd link you to this (http://www.designedwithlove.com.au/engagementpartyinvitations.shtml) website. I found it while doing the GDUNH, and the invitations are only $1 each. I don't think you could do them for cheaper yourself, with the cost of photo paper and ink cartridges, so I thought it might help :)

The ones I'm looking at on the website I mentioned are $15 for the template and then say 20c per invite to print them at say BigW or somewhere like that.

Not sure what would be cheaper? Have also thought about buying paper and making them myself. The sort that have a coloured background, a see through overlay and a seal to stick them both together! If that makes any sense! Lol!

Have also found a software package for $15 on Ebay so am thinking about buying that...

I do all of my invites on Microsoft Publisher and then go and get them developed at Kmart or Big W.
