View Full Version : my premi-precous
kylie now weighs 1710g ---------90g to go to the perspex cot yay
my clever girl , seen her thismorning she was gettin prepped for the transfusion she was all wide awake and just staring at me then her arm which had the big board in it poor little thing-hate seeing her unhappy. shes so good at getting any wires masks boards etc off her so they had to pretty much pin her arm to the matress.
i want so much to be there for her but it just really stresses me seeing her like that. and i know my bubby girls gona be cranky afterwards . ill be seeing her again later got the boss ute for the week or so , which is making it alot easier to get to her and back- for now.
i just keeping walking in and out of her nursery now, constantly staring or rearranging clothes, toys and what not . cant wait til my baby girl can come home. i think im ready.
hey sexcbec
I know exactly how u are feeling my little one was 10 weeks early and spent 8 weeks in hospital and i was in at the hospital all the time. When it was time to leave it broke my heart knowing she was there without me. But i figured she was better off in there getting better than at home at that point. It is a very hard road but when they come home it is amazing.
You have to be strong and patient. If u want to talk kyles124@hotmail.com
How did the transfusion go? If it has happened?

Hi Bec & Kylie
what a team - well done getting her home and enjoying her so much. It must be an amazing feeling to see her doing so well and growing so fast! As for the unsettled times - you get those with all babies not just premmies and it gets easier all the time.:hugs:
you sound like you've really got a handle on things but feel free to pm if you need a chat.
My premi-precious James is nearly 8kgs (little boofa) and doing really well - sleeping through most nights (last week was horrendous tho) and we're starting solids with him slowly. We see our Paediatrician tomorrow because its six months since our last visit.
take care of yourselves and thanks for letting us know how you're going.
cheers
Georgia
