I'm 32 weeks pregnant and on the weekend while driving over a speed hump, the baby's head smahed down so hard it split my pubic bone.
I can hardly walk. it hurts to cough and sneeze and hurts when I roll over in bed.
I was so worried about the baby being injured too, but he still seems to be moving around.
I am having an ultrasound on Friday and am not sure if i should move that forward just to be on the safe side.
Apparanlty the pain won't get better till I have the baby. I can't be induced before the next 6 weeks, so that's a long time to be in agony.
I tried wearling a speacial support belt but it burned my hips and made the pain worse.
I don't want to take pain killers for the rest of the pregnany, because it's not good for the baby. The pain killers don't help much anyway.
I don't know how I'm supposed to be on bed rest with 3 other kids and no-one to help out at home.
I also have the option of spending the rest of the pregnany in hospital, but I don't see how that will be any different from being on bed rest at home.
I need to use a walking frame when I'm not in bed.
I was wondering if anyone has any better suggestions than I ones I have been offered.
Thanks!
