Boys name peter

I need some help in my family it is traditional to name after the grandparents. Now I hve a name for a girl but I need a boys name.

I am naming the child after my father who's name is Peter (panayioti, in Greek) The problem is that my sister has a peter already and I really don't want my baby to be little peter.

Do any of you have any reccomendations on a name that is similar or a dirrevative of my dad's name.

Do you want to use the name or are you just using it because you feel obliged? I have also felt the pressure to call my baby after my MIL (Greek too!) but im choosing not to, much to her dissapointment. Its your choice really and seeing as theres already a Peter then it seems silly if you used the same name. Can you use another form of Peter as a middle name maybe?
