I would like to encourage a certain business to change their policy on swim nappies, they are unhappy with their current product and I would like to enstill(sp) confidence in the cloth swim nappy.

Please PM me if you think your swim nappy can last the test of time and keep poos out of the pool.

I read your post a couple of times and what I think you might mean (please correct me if I'm wrong ... lol) ... you wish to get your swim school to allow your child to wear a cloth swim nappy in the pool? Is that correct?

or do you mean?
You would like a WAHM who makes swim nappies to PM you (not comment on here because they will get in trouble). The business you speak of has a bad opinion in regards to cloth nappies because the ones they have dealt with haven't been successfully working? You want to prove to them that they are a viable option in order to change the policy.

Yeah, from another thread I've read I think kuddles is correct.

Her DS has been made to wear a huggies nappy as the swim school has now decided cloth just doesn't cut it, so I think she might want a WAHM who makes swim nappies to educate the swim school that they work just as well.

I use a Bonnibuns swim nappy which is fantastic, maybe contact her through her website?

our swim school encourage re-usable nappies, and sell the RAV swim nappies and the the iplay nappies in their bathers section. Using a disposable swim nappy for 1/2 an hour is such a waste!!

our swim school does the same, they have an older lady who makes them out of cotton, just like undies (so not a proper swim nappy) but they encourage you to use these to catch the poop , you just adjust the elastic as needed - only 5.95 too bargain....

This is exactly what I mean, my swim school has changed their policy on loth swim nappies saying they dont keep pool out of the pool.

So i was thinking of supplying the swim school with a few samples of swim nappies parents are using that do work. My son is toilet trained, but we have been using the monkey doodlez brand since he was 6 months old. I assume they work but he has never pooed in them so I have no idea.

I really want my son to continue swimming lessons at this school as he likes it there, and there is already so much change in his life that it would be nice for one thing to stay the same for longer that 6 months.

Also it makes me cranky to see all of these little bums running around with disposables on...

The product the school currently sells is what is letting the cloth swim nappy team down, I need to re educate the manager. He seems to believe that a disposable and a cloth is, what is needed and that, that is the norm in the UK and the US (not sure how this matters)
