View Full Version : S26 Step 2- Everywhere is out of stock

DD has been having S26 Step 2 formula for almost 2mths and now all the shops seem to have run out and the chemist lady told me that it is not avilable from the supplier :mad:

I am about half way thru a tin now...what am I ment to do when that runs out? What should I change to? I don't want to have this problem again.

no supermarkets, or big w/kmart places have em?!?! Thats odd! DD is on S26 2 as well. But i have never had a problem ever buying it....

I quite regularly have this problem as Coles is useless and the only place available to buy the formula, i've been lucky quite a few times as the stick packs are available (Although this is VERY costly!). Can you get the stickpacks from at all?

ALL the shops I went into today were out...I usually buy it from Big W, cheaper than chemists/woolies. I saw the stickpacks somewhere, I'm hoping not to have to buy them :fingerscrossed: I have just over half a tin left, DD only has 3 or 4 bottles a day so hopefully it lasts til next week and they have some more by then.
I think I'd rather change to a different brand formula if I run out and can't get the S26, this is the second time this has happened since DD was born.
Might have to call them tomorrow too...see what they have to say :rolleyes:

Can you maybe put her back on Step 1 for a week or two until they get some stock in?

Is it ok to put her back onto the Step 1 formula? I hadn't even thought of that...what's different about them?

I think its the Iron levels that are different. It wont do any harm to her! Atleast its something she is familiar with :yes: It will be safe to use until the step 2 is back

I work in pharmacy, we were out of stock for a few weeks, but its been back in stock at our store for the past 2 weeks!!!
So most pharmacies should be getting it back in now also!

That is soooo weird!!!

My DD is on Step 1 and whenever I go to buy it, I always find that they've sold out of the Step 1 and have a million cans of the Step 2!!!

I find that Kmart & Target are always much, much cheaper than Coles/Woolies & that there are a few chemists here & there that often have it cheaper still than Kmart & Target.

BTW, my tip is to stock up when Kmart & Target have their 15% off storewide sales. You can usually score it for about $16 a tin.

I only ever pay about $15 a tin normally at Big W...I'm not using the gold formula tho.

Nat...I've had no trouble getting it for the past few weeks, they still had some on the weekend too...but monday was 'pay day' and when I went today to get some there was none...hopefully they are just waiting one a delivery :fingerscrossed:
