I am about to have my baby in about 3 weeks and am still struggling to find affordable home child care or alternatives for when I return to work.

WOuld appreciate any ideas or advise on this.

i live in eastern suburbs and know how hard it is to find affordable care.
the only thing i can suggest is to share a mummy , find a nice relaxed but responsible mum and ask her if she would like to mind your bub .
you could supply nappies and food and pay a resonable amount to her pref tax free .
it means your bub would be with some one up to date with modern parenting tecniques and not in a huge centre your bub could also do some fun stuff like playgroup etc
its just a thought mummy share could be an affordable alternative.
just go with your gut feeling with what is best for you and your baby and goodluck
