Hi there, Just wanted to check if there were any other young mums going through Chemotherapy after having breastcancer. I am post surgery and start chemo on Tues. Bit anxious about what to expect and what REALLY are the big issues.:(

Thanks for your well wishes. I am sure there must be more of us out there. More and more I hear of so many young mums like myself who are diagnosed with BC while pregnant, or with small bubs. Bit scary really!

Sorry I missed your post
I was diagnosed with cancer last Jan , it wasnt BC and it was pre bub but can give you advice about chemo. I did 12 cycles/ 6 months of aggresive chemo
let's us know how you go and we can give you advice, it take sometime to figure out the right combo of meds to combat the nausea and what foods to avoid
:hugs: :hugs:

Wow..I haven't checked this thread since I posted. SO GREAT to know there are other youngies like myself out there. I am 4 days into my first cycle of A/C. Have 4 cycles (once a fortnight) then 12 cycles of Taxol.

Lisamd...I hear you about getting the right mix of antinausea. I spent the whole first night vomiting with cramps thanks to Maxillon! What did you find was most effective? So dissappointed that vegemite tastes yuck now.

As for you other girls with breast and cervical c... thanks for dropping a line. I spoke with a girl who said she found this site a great comfort and a way to touch base with others without having any time restrictions. Other restriciton..look and feel like crud. I will try to check this more regularly.

Hope you are all getting through o.k.

Hugs. :hugs:x
