You'll probably find a lot of people are holding back because of the fact the they don't know where it is.

Sorry - already have two commitments at that time on that day (yes - very popular:rolleyes: ) - as one of them involves getting DD2 into the kindergarten of choice we can't afford to miss it!

Maybe next month - and an evening would be better for me - easier to find babysitters........

I would love to come and meet you all but I have booked DD into a craft class that morning and I really can't see DH sitting in with her learning how to make beaded bangles!!!

Will anyone mind if Kat and I both bring our bubbies? Kats dp will be away for the weekend and my dh has a few things on as well. If they start the tears we can make a quick exit.

Although, with little Connor :devil6: and his antics, I could very well be a contender for Nic-O-Less the you know who. Hopefully that will not happen, as I cannot come to the pm meets so please someone, do something, anything, so you don't end up with another brunch.

Let me know if it will be a problem to bring the boys and we will try and make some other arrangements for them.

Where abouts do you live KK??? if you have your car seat by then i should be able to come pick you up if its southside and not too hard to find.... (freaks out a little - i havent driven that much around brissy!)....

Garrett is much much much better (actually is fully recovered) but still a little cautious to make sure we avoid a relapes as much as possible.

that's great news about garrett - can't wait to meet him!! & u, of course! :D

i'm in tingalpa - right near wynnum west. (if it helps - very close to moreton bay college). i did get the car seat, but it may take a lot of time to work it out (unless u r an expert) lol.

but i really don't mind public transport - it means i can wander around the city/ southbank after the brunch ;)

can someone pm me, tho & let me know if it's a HUGE walk from the cultural centre bus stop? i'm used to walking long distances, i did a 3 hour walk (with Q.) the other day!! can u give me an estimate of how long it'd take? thanks :)

Ill have to do a dry run first - lol - im a shocker and i really need to get to know brisbane more :P As for the car seat business, i have taken ours out and in so many times ive lost count already - jase doesnt like my car, so when we go anywhere we have to change the seat into his car....

Hi all...I have been sooo busy over the last few days, this is the first opp I have had to login.

Just thought I should mention that bubs are more than welcome, if other care can't be arranged. However, I told the place that we might have a few bubs and they informed me that they have limited highchairs....I have reserved them all. Just means bubs may have to take turns, or sit in prams. The place is very pram friendly.

Dont worry im not preg yet, and i dont have any kids - im in the process of trying to bake one. I went to the one last month and everyone is lovely. You wont look outta place at all - if you do, you can sit with me ;)

Just got home. Got stuck at mums for most of the afternoon.

It was lovely to meet so many new faces. My apologies to those who I didn't get to chat to....such a long table. Maybe we should have a speed dating set up next time. :laughing:

Well i think i won it, coz i was the only real person bec knew... tee heee...

and i kept dropping pancakes and ice cream on my lap coz they only gave me a fork instead of a spoon (not sure if she saw that and helped her made up her mind??)

Once again - sooo many lovely & gorgeous ladies there, cant wait to organise the next one..... im thinking of a dinner, as a few drinks might break the ice a little.? BUT can everyone get there???

Thanks Bec79 for organising the brunch. It was great to meet some of the other mums. All the mums I got to speak to at my end of the table were beautiful and so nice and easy to talk to.

Thanks for those who made it even in the rain. I hope to come along again if my son allows. He gave my dh a bit of a hard time while I was gone but he can deal with it for one day. Everytime he looks after him he really appreciates that I do it all the time. He makes daddy play the rough and ready games and if he stops he lets him have it so that dh has to keep going. Poor dh doesn't know yet that if you tell him to go and play by himself for a while and you tune out to the whining he eventually does.:devil6:

So true I came home DS still in his PJs and no lunch I think DS was glad to see me and his lunch.
It was such i nice morning HOT food & coffee and could have a conversation in peace. I will be coming to the next meeting wherever that mite be
