Hi all,

Need some advice on supplement for DH. He's not taking any multivitamins. Once a while I make him take some vitamin c and fish oil. Had accident few years back, and has been on strong pain medication on daily basis. :(
He eats healthy food, no alcohol and drinks a must have coffee a day.

Do you think he needs supplement for his little guys (and girls) ? We did a home sperm check, and I found it's low and saw big improvements when I gave him Nature's Own conceive kit for men. But as he stopped it, the they decreased in quantity and also quality so I think it helped.
He has a very sensitive stomach, and thinks it's from the zinc. I also gave him my zinc tablet, and his stomach starts making funny noises again.

Chinese herbs acupuncture are great

Jut on the zinc front, If I have zinc in many tablets I get sick, I've vomited lots of times from some brands of zinc tablets.

In fact, the only stuff I've ever been OK with, is a half dose after eating, of this liquid rasberry flavoured stuff you dissolve in a whole glass of water.

I have founds certain brands are much better quality than others when it comes to vitamins.
I guess I'm just sensitive to non natural zinc.. not that it's entirely synthetic, but it's not the same as we dissolve it in food ,you know?

but there is zinc in berocca also I'm pretty sure, come to think of it.. so maybe it's just the disolved in water zinc and vitamins I'm better with.

Would he have berocca? It has B vitmins and zinc and etc..

Grating heaps of veg into food? I can get carrot, little bit of pumpkin/zuchini/ broccoli capsicum , garlic and onion into something like spaghetti bolognaise.. I am sure if i grated it/cut it up smaller someone wouldn't notice if I had to 'hide it' Sure there are ways to get veggies into meals.

I'm glad that he's not the only person that's sensitive with zinc. I read that zinc sulfate may cause stomach problem as it's the cheapest form of zinc and usually found in many supplement brands. So it could be that. Will try berocca and see if he likes it.
But then, maybe it could also be the mix of zinc and other things. :)

He loves vegies. Just thought that years of heavy medication could reduce his sperm count.

Thanks!
