Lots of Clomid Questions

Hi Ladies..

And i apologise for my ignorance in advance.. But i have no idea :o i am on my very first round of clomid

I'm wondering firstly how long did it take you to fall pregnant on Clomid?

What symptoms did you get?

If you didnt get any symptoms on ur first round does that mean ur dose is not high enough and its not working?

How far into ur cycle did u get symptoms from clomid.

hey i am due to start my 7th cycle of clomid end of this month beginning of next.
unfortunately i haven't fallen pg yet but i have a few fertility issues there are lots of women on bh who have had babies from clomid.
Take it at night when you're going to bed it eases the symptoms.
my symptoms/ side effects are headaches/migraines, hot flushes, dizziness, and moodiness.
You may get no side effects or a lot it depends on the individual when i first started clomid i had horrid migraines but wasn't ovulating at all but the last couple of cycles haven't been too bad and side effects have lessened so can't judge if it's working based on side effects.
Are you having the cd21 bt done? best way to know if your current dose is working.
as for when the side effects occur i get them on my 2nd day of taking the tablet until a few days to a week after.

I was on clomid for 18 months. It took a few tries to get my dose right, and then once I was ovulating every month and still not falling pregnant we were refered for insemination. I was still taking the clomid during our 6 insemination attempts but still didn't fall pregnant.After the 18 months we decided to take a break from trying (we'd be trying every month for 3 years at that point) and I stopped the clomid while we saved up for ivf. The month I stopped taking it I fell preganant naturally. I still believe it was only beacuse my body was so used to taking it after 18 months, it just did it nautrally.

I ddin't experience any symptoms while I was taking it. I did however feel when I was ovulating. I got a pain in whichever ovary I was ovulating from. Thats about the only symptom though.

I deffiantely recommend getting the blood tests done, because I needed to take 2 tablets before I would ovulate.
