Menstural Cup Q?

Hi all,

After reading these forums I have bitten the bullet and ordered a lunette cup.

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but those ladies who have a regular cycle - do you put the cup in before you start bleeding (i.e. on the day of your period) or do you wait for it to show first.

If I 'feel' like I'm going to start and I'm going somewhere I will pop it in. If I'm just around home I'll wait.

I only start really light anyway, but if I knew I started with a sudden, heavier flow, I'd definitely put it in on the day rather than wait & risk some potential.. messiness. ;)
