Right from when DS came out. DP wanted another two. Now he's cut back to one.
Me - I want none.
It's a constant battlefield in our house. I'd have another to get nice photos done! or to get my labour right - as I'm still a tad upset over both my labours "failing" in my eyes. But to me that's not a good enough reason to have another child.... and I want to go to Uni... I have things I want to do... so yeah - the "add another baby to the household" arguement is alive and well in this household!

DP is sort of pushing for another one. I'm sort of like, 'um I just had one'.
We always said 3, but after my last pregnancy, i went to hospital about 4 times... stayed in over night, sometimes two nights each time.
I got such low iron the doctor kindly told me I could die giving birth.
I'm a bit 'um, ah, um ah' about it all. I just don't know.
It's not argument between us yet, more a gentle nagging.... :D

I had DS last March and am pregnant with #2.
My DH always wanted a big family (4+ children) but was adamant he wouldn't have 3 (he's a middle child)
After the birth of my first, I figured I'd have one more because he'd love the company - but there is no way in this lifetime I am doing this again.
I am not a natural birth type - I like drugs etc to stop the pain so I don't feel empowered or like superwoman after birth, I feel like a train has hit me......
I say to DH "if you wanna carry and birth the next 2-4 you want, then go right ahead".....
Mind you, he also doesn't hear kids crying at night time - but that is a whole other story!
Hi Jen
If your not totally sure u want another, maybe wait a little longer?
DD is not quite 12mths yet (is she?!) so waiting a few more months wouldnt hurt and there still wouldnt be a huge age gap :)
Having said that - my DD is 8 mths and Hubby has been at me since she was 4mths to have another.
Its not the birth that scares me, its the sleep deprivation and how i'll cope with a toddler and baby.
I've made him a deal, that if we dont start trying before DD's first birthday i'll commit to TTC #2 from her first birthday.
