Hello,

I was just wanting to know if there are any pregnant people in the Newcastle area if they know of any places where you can have a gender ultrasound at 16 weeks I think 2D, I know there is a place in Sydney but was hoping there was somewhere closer, and also do you need a referral at all?

Also is there any maternity shops in the Newcastle area, I am 26, I am wanting some clothes that make me still look my age, any help or suggestions is very much appreciated.

Thank you anyone!

Dr Steven Raymond in New Lambton does the 3D/4D Ultrasounds so might have the services you are looking for.

I don't believe you need a referral unless you are after the full medical report as well.

I never bothered with Maternity Clothes. I just bought shirts of a looser style. I bought the Belly Belt so I could still wear my jeans.

Pumpkin Patch have some great Maternity clothes, and K-mart's aren't to bad either, also checkout Ebay, they have some really good pieces for A decent price.
As for the scan I can't really help, but I do say be careful, we had A scan at 16+3weeks to determine the gender (we were impatient lol) and we were told 95% chance of A girl but we later found out at our 20 week scan we were having A boy, so they aren't as accurate that early in the pregnancy.

I was just about to say Dr Raymond too :) He is with "Newcastle IVF" if you can't find him by his name.

Maternity clothes shops I don;t know sorry I never really went into many besides kmart, their range is pretty good, and ebay. I found the others too expensive.
