Do you test or wait for AF?

Hi to everyone who is TTC:wave:

We are currently TTC #2 and I was just wondering what everyone else does. When we had DS I tested both months -fisrt because I didnt really know when AF was due after coming off the pill and second month because AF didnt arrive beacuse I was pregnant. We are in our third month this time adn I was wondering what everyone else does each month.

So you test every month or do you wait to see if AF arrives then only test if you need to? Also if you do test how early do you do it?

I'm hopeless and I tested for my last 2 pregnancies, which unfortunately ended in M/C, but with those I test fairly early about 9/10 days past O, but this time I'm not getting the tell tales signs, eg- sore boobs, intergestion, tiredness etc, so I will probably still test but will wait until only a couple of days before AF is due, as I don't think I am, but will still test because I can't help myself.

The first month I started testing at about 7DPO every second day. I've tested before AF was due on the 2nd and 3rd months, but not so obsessively. The first month I started feeling upset at the HPT manufacturer for not being producing a more reliable product - turned out I couldn't blame them after all :o Haha!

I think I waited for AF and when it didn't come on the day I tested and I had a hunch anyway and sure enough I was BFP.
I never tested with any of my other 3. Until I thought Oh oohhh haven't had AF for a while. Never had a negative pretty fertile I reckon that's why have had my TT 'ed.

with ds1 didnt even know i was preg, just took myself to the gp for something else (funnily enough to find out why i was throwing up and tired alot) haha..anyway did a test there and it was bfp..we were about 7wks along, nice suprise!

with ds2 its a totally different story..we were TTC for 18 months, and while i was still breastfeeding my toddler. I was temping etc each month and would mostly wait til AF was due and see if she came, some months id get a test but all bfn. on the 18th month i had decided to take the month off from temping, but my af decided not to show up on time. i waited til 19dpo to test LOL. it was bfp :D
