Can antibiotics delay your period.

Im on day 42 of a normally 37 day cycle, and have been on antibiotics for a week.

I dont have any pregnancy symptoms. the only thing im experienceing is i seem to be getting a mixture of white gluey discharge (no odour) or EWCM. I have bought a test to do tomorrow. Or should i waite untill im off the antibiotics a couple of day, i will be taking the last tablet tonight.

they've never delayed mine, they could though i know they can interfere with the pill, i would think it's more likely being sick which has delayed your period do the hpt you should be able to get a reliable result by now. Good luck

I havnt been sick, just had a cyst in my boobie, so the antibiotics has helped it go away.

I too have been on Antibiotics as i have had a chest infection for a week and i am due to get AF on sunday i will have to wait and see what happens

hmm googled it and antibiotics can delay a period. Did you do the hpt? i would do it if it's negative then it's probably the antibiotics.

Yep did a HPT and got a negative so i figure its the antibiotics. I finished the course last night. So will see when it rocks up
