I had an ectopic in March 08 and had my right tube removed. I have since had severe period pain for the first 2-3 days since the operation. I have had dye test, laproscopy, internal/external exams etc and my gyno can't find anything causing the pain.
The pain is as intense as when I was rushed to hospital with the ectopic a year and a half ago! :( I have read other women who say they still feel the pain weeks and maybe upto 3mths later but are there any ladies out there that have noticed a prelonged difference in the way their bodies work since their ectopic.
I have had 2 full term pregnancies and thus 2 lovely kids pre the ectopic but have been unable to fall pregnant again since.
I just want to hear from other ladies that might be experiencing similar things and maybe their doctor found a cure. I think my gyno is very good but he might have missed something.
My Husband has suggested a Hyst. to get rid of the pain but it might also make it worse and I still want more children. :eek: So I dose up on pain meds but it is still nearly a whole month every year that I'm in pain!
