Donation to charity

Hi All,

DH and I have finally done our wills and was asked if we all happened to pass away (inc children ofcourse) where would we like our money assets etc to go. So we were thinking we would like to donate it all to charity but which one??????
So my question to you is who would you donate it to and why??
I am hoping that your ideas might help us decide.

Sorry no help, but just wondering...Why woudl you give all your money to charity? What about your children, wouldnt they get any?

for myself it would be the ronald mcdonald charity as thats something that has always been close to my heart. there are many wonderful charities out there and i am sure it would be hard to pick but you could always pick a few and then split it up among them.

There are only a few causes I regularly donate to, and only those with personal meaning to me or my family, so my will has provisions for a certain percentage to go to both the Asthma Foundation, The Leukaemia Foundation ,and the RSPCA.

There are so many causes out there I'd like to support, but I only have so much to give, and I'd rather give a decent amount to those two, than pocket change to all of them.

Sorry Peppa maybe my post wasn't that clear I was meaning if all of us died inc children. We have a lot of family members and dont see the point of dividing what we have between them where they will get not much, would rather give a donation to one or two charities.

What a lovely thought! I wish more people were not so adverse to the idea of charity.

Personally, I would give to my favoured environmental and animal welfare groups. I think it is best to give to a cause that if important to you, so maybe have a think about what you think is of importance and what cause you would like to be part of.
