DD2 has one sleep left in her plaster! Can't wait. Its time, the knees are worn out and she is trying to stand in it!

She has been in this one 6 weeks and the previous one 4 weeks, so 10 in total. She is 13 months old. We go and get the plaster cut off tomorrow and I'm not sure what to expect.

Will she be able to sit up afterwards or will it take a few days? What will her little legs look like and how long until she is able to stretch them out?

She will be going into a brace, and we have experience with them as DD1 was in one until she was 1. She sat and stood in hers, but I guess it will take DD2 a little while to adjust.

My DD was in a brace for 6 weeks from birth. her legs were still at right angles for a couple of weeks after that.

not sure if it will be the same for your bub as she will be a lot older..

i suspect it may take her a little longer.. she also might "miss" her spica because it might have given her a bit of security, so maybe be prepared for that?

But YAY!! :yelclap: how excitement!! finally she can wear nappies that are actually her size lol
