Hi
I'm new to this site. It's just what I've been looking for since I found out I was preggas 28 weeks ago
I live in the Eastern suburbs and I'm 32 weeks pregnant.
I'm having my baby at Knox private. I had my other 3 in public hospitals, which were great, but where I live now, Knox is closest and I have cover so why not use it!
I really wanted a homebirth, but chickened out after watching that maternity ward program on foxtel and seeing all the complications like cord prolapse etc
I really want to film this birth since it's my last and I didn't own a video camera with the others.

Anyway, sorry for babbling :o

Hey Nicki, how cool that we have the same GYN
I left you another PM.
I heard our doc trying to deliver someones baby last week, she was pushing and pushing and the little bugger wouldn't come out.
He came out to see me inbetween pushes because I had a tummy bug which caused contrations. He was so cool about it.
He's a great doctor!
I ended up going home cause the pain eased up on it's own.

i do wear a belt but find it doesnt really help much and often makes it hurt even more :(

and i must say going over speed humps is quite painful already... i will definantly start taking them really slow or avoiding them all together if i can !!

Hope your feeling ok , have you found any good options for your pain management and the rest you need?
