Does anyone have somting similar to the Dora one? Did your child get lots of play out of it?

Which would you recommend?? (Any Kind)

We have laybyed the wooden one from kmart for ds's 2nd birthday next week!

He has one at day care and absolutely LOVES it.........I would recommend the wooden one , only because they imo last longer, are more steady and durable especially if your going to have more than one child and you'll want to use it for years to come.

Which ever one you choose im sure your dd will love it and yes play with it heaps!

We got the ELC (Early Learning Centre) kitchen and accessories last christmas, and it is used every single day!!!! (My DD is now 3.5) We looked at the little tykes one, and a disney princess one aswell. The things I love about the one we got are the cooking noise, integration of an oven and dishwasher, but when we got it we also got a really good deal.

I saw the DORA one in the catalogue today, and I have to say if it was around 12 months ago we probably would have got that because DD loves her.

I'm sure any kitchen will be used with imagination. Before we got the ELC one I made one from a cube cardboard box (covered with different coloured papers and contact), complete with opening oven, circle burners, and "Ashleigh's Kitchen Appliances" branding. i attached milk lids with elastic so they turned.

i just got a second hand one for my 10 month old. she loves it. it is plastic with and oven with 2 cupboards on either side, 2 burners on the top and a microwave about the burners. it has a little bench on one side and a sink on the other. she plays with it all the time and we had also got a few pots and pans with it. i have also gotten her the food set that was in the wearhouse catalogue a few weeks back for her birthday.

i did see in a catalogue too that there is a toy washing machine and vacumm cleaner that i want to get for her too as well as a little toy fridge. just so she can practice helping mummy.
