Hi all

Well its almost time for DH and I to start ttc #1 again:smiliedance:

My Gyn said to start taking Elivit but I forgot how long before starting ttc I should be taking it!

Can any of you lovely ladies help me out?

i think on the pack it should recommend how long prior... 3 months i think?

I would say if you're starting to think about ttc then start taking them!

Sorry to hijack this thread but just wondering - I got told by my doc that as long as I am taking foliate I am good. She said I can take Elivit or the Blackmores version if I want to but that foliate is the most NB.

This is all I have been taking - should I be taking something else? :confused:

Can I join the hijacking and ask an extra question - when should DH and I head to the Dr for our boosters (especially Rubella)?

I am not sure about Rubella as I was immune already but I did have to get a chickenpox shot and was told that I should not try to fall pg for 3 months. Rubella is probably very similar so I would suggest you guys book your Dr's appointment in sooner rather than later.
