I love science books and have been looking for my next big investment, and stumbled across this (http://scienceblogs.com/bookclub/2008/10/finally_science_pushes_back_ag.php#c1823943)...
it's a review of Paul Offit's book, Autism's False Prophets: Bad Science, Risky Medicine, and the search for a cure. The reviewer is a very prolific blogger on vax issues (pro vax perspective).
It's not new (Oct 2008), but the review itself is fascinating reading as to the politics of the antivax movement (in particular) and the link between antivaxxers and fundamentalist Christianity in the States.
I'm not saying ANY particular side is right or wrong (I have no clue!) but it is VERY interesting reading.
