Family Meet Up

The other night me,mel,jo and beth were talking bout how it would be great if we could all get together one weekend so all the daddies can meet up.
What does everyone think?When and where do you wanna do it?
Lets brainstorm:D

Well last time it was mentioned...i told steven & he said...but i thought it was a girls thing...lol
I have no idea where we could meet up....but i think you really need to be somwhere your not chasing your kids around as much...because if your doing that you dont get the chance to speak to people.
so maybe someones place for a BBQ.:detective:

my house could be ok. we have a big fenced back yard...but a big dog. he does not bite but may scare the littlies not used to dogs:eek:

We would love to meet up for a BBQ. Our place is waaaayyy to small though :thumbsdown: We have to have parties for birthday etc at my parents place for this reason :(

Same Beth, we live in a town house and while its not tiny, it would not hold a large group of ppl. We have to do all partys/get togethers at my parents too!

Could we do a bbq in a gated park maybe??

I could only come to it if its on the 30th coz my friend is here on hols from the 15th til the 25th.

But its cool coz if that doesnt suit everyone else then I will come to the next one!

I went blonde for my wedding and then about a month after the wedding I'd had enough of the upkeep and went back to brunette! Luckily, my aunt is a haridresser :laughing:

Took about 4-5 sessions of full on foils to get that look :rolleyes:

We'd be in for sure, I've voted for the 30th cause we have a few b'days on in the next 2 weeks.

OK so am thinking of a park/BBQ facilities which is safe for all the kiddies, this is my short list :)

Monaco Park - BBQ area, playground and huge grass area (but there is a pond in the middle of the park so might not be good for some?)

Macintoch - or as Randall knows it, the Indy Pit :D - Good BBQ area, Playground

Burleigh Beach - Playground, BBQ area

Chariss Seafood (Opp the Grand) - fenced playground and seafood :p

This is all I can think of right now, it's late and I need sleep...lol

beth i had a dream last night about your avator..afew of us mentioned the photo making you look different so you put up all you wedding photos on your avator plus a link to the video of your wedding waltz where you and daniel danced like on dirty dancing...i think im spending too much time on bub hub!!!!!!!:rolleyes:

We would probably come but the 30th is my birthday and will me my first birthday with a bub so I daresay hubby will want to do something just as a family.

And I don't think I would be up to it any earlier as I am being induced this monday at middnight.


Will try and make it to the next one, also saturdays are probably better for most people as sundays tend to be "family day".

We will be holidaying on the Gold Coast around 30Jul, so I'll keep an eye on this thread and if we are free, might come and meet you all.
