Hi,

I've been lingering for a while now and have been searching for answers but unable to find...

I have been trying to monitor my CM so far have not found the "egg white" type CM .. I have do get wet watery CM, but nothing that stretches between my fingers that is watery.

But yesterday after wiping, a big blob of what I think is CM came out, its gluey and very stretchy but it is not watery. I found a video on you tube that looks like what I am describing.. although it is not as big - however this is a mucus plug...! but I am not pregnant..

I have 2 questions:

1. Does everyone get the egg white type of CM?
2. What was that big blob?

TIA! :)

What you are describing sounds like EWCM which is normally present just before the middle of your cycle. Some women don't get it, some women get a lot of it, & some women only get it in some cycles. I found if I DTD on the day I got it (I didn't see it very often at all) I'd fall pregnant.

Thanks for your reply Amara. I think you're right, because I got temp rise this morning :)

Just a bit weird to me as that one blob was so thick I didn't think any sperm can swim through it! :raspberry:

Hi yannie,

I've wondered the same thing! I rarely get any CM--well if I do, it's so scant that I don't notice it, but my cycles are so wildly erratic anyway I never know when to even LOOK for it! lol When I do, though, it's really blobby and sticky; I wouldn't think those little sperm could swim through it.
