Advice please - weird spotting

Hi Ladies,

I have been on the TTC rollercoaster for a while now, and generally I understand my cycles pretty well. I usually ovulate on day 15 and get AF 14 days later. However, last month and this month I have been having spotting from DPO 5. Last month I got really excited because I thought maybe that it was implantation bleeding, but no... This month it is happening again. I got some light spotting after going to the toilet at day 5, and then I have a more significant amount of bright red blood yesterday at DPO 7. Each time it happened after I had (sorry for the TMI) gone to the toilet for number 2...:p. What the hells going on?
Why after 15 months off the pill and regular cycles and I now getting weird spotting?
I have been to an obgyn a few months ago and had ultrasounds, a HSG test and blood tests and no abnormalities were detected.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i get this from about 3dpo onwards until af comes 10-12dpo the reason i get the spotting is my progesterone drops too quickly after ovulation, my last 2 cycles on clomid it didn't happen because the clomid supported my prog levels.
do you have cd21 bt? maybe just raise your concern with your ob/gyn they might be able to do some progesterone monitoring.

From what you said perhaps you've got a small graze since it was after number 2's, it happens to me sometimes and can be quite bright red at times... Has nothing to do with my cycles... :o whatever it is I hope that you work it all out soon :hugs:
