Ok, I've started a new Sept dinner thread because I stuffed up the dates in the previous one!!:dizzy: (sorry to those who already voted :D)

Anyway, Please vote for the date/s you are able to make. I havn't included the first weekend of Sept as it's next weekend!

Are we going with that Thai place we decided on last time or does anyone have any other ideas?

Looking forward to it! :smiliedance:

I was wondering if people who haven't been to any of your events before can just rudely invite themselves along?? I.e. me??

I'm good for any night except the 19th, that's my dad's 60th party :D

Linda almost finished, just got a few odd boxes left.. Too busy sussing out the new washing machine to bother with the boxes lol.

I'll bring my washing over for you to test out if you like Nel. :p:laughing:

I'm Ok with most dates except the 26th as its the long weekend and probably grand final day. Then again if the Crows come storming home and make it to the GF I may want to celebrate that night!

I think my brain has gone into retirement, or expiry, it is my 31st tomorrow, perhaps my brain expires then?

Anyhooo.... king and i, FAB in Hillarys (for the northites), Council Club in Midland......

I don't really mind :)

Did you forget last time PeppaH? The restaurant had actually set up 3 high chairs for your son lol

Linda it's an 8L Simpson top loader but it's one of those eco friendly ones. Have to use front loading low sudsing detergent etc. It's funky. Not sure I like the way it beeps at me when it's finished though  god damn bossy white goods

I explained to them twice that only one of the babies was big enough for a high chair but they obviously got a bit over enthusiastic LOL.

Why would they set up 3 high chairs for one toddler?:laughing:

Picked Sat the 19th, after sitting the STAT that day I may need a drink or 2 to calm the nerves . I'm happy to go wherever.

Thanks everyone!!

Well, I decided to bite the bullet and invite myself along and choose a date. I am a bridesmaid in 2.5 weeks so we have kitchen tea, hen's night and wedding for the next three weekends :D

So I chose Saturday the 26th.

Oh, and by the way one of my bridesmaids for MY wedding (if it ever happens ... lol) is the owner of Santa Fe restaurant in Subiaco. She'd do us a great deal.

dont stress we will sort something out !

first being the date !
there were equal votes for the 19th and 26th

so maybe we can start by choosing one of them?

put your name down and the date you prefer

copy and paste the previous post so we can have the names all together !

Jazzak - 26th

I guess I'm Ok with either date at this stage. Prefer the 19th but if most want the 26th then that's OK. I dont think we are going away for the long weekend but if Adelaide makes the Grand Final and win, you guys better bring ear plugs. I am going to be super happy!! :D

So it looks like the 26th.

Where are we going to go ?

BabelFish

Depending on what cuisine people like, I have a couple of suggestions:

1. As mentioned before, Santa Fe in Subiaco. My girlfriend is the owner and would look after us.
2. If you want the best Chinese in Perth then The Red Teapot in Northbridge - it's tiny but awesome.
3. Vietnamese - Little Saigon in Highgate YUMMMMMMMMY
4. Indian - The Cinnamon Club in Leederville - totally delicious and cheap!
5. Israeli - Ricki Blake's in Mt Lawley, small and a bit on the pricey side but amazing, amazing food.
6. Italian - Sienna's in Leederville. Pretty ok food, cheap and lots of room.
7. Malaysian - Ria in Leederville. Not cheap but not expensive and food is superb.
8. Clancy's Fish House in Subiaco - YUM.

Just a few to get started! :D
