Your opinion on my Girls names...

Will try and do this as a poll with my fave top 5.

Lelaina I imagine would get shortened to lainey or laina now and then.

Formal name for Liv would probably be Olivia (?).

I also love Milla, Leila, Lara, Zara, Bella and Saskia.

I love the name Lily for a girl but not so sure about it for an adult, as I think its very cutsey but I do love the name.

I know a 12 mnth old called Liv, not short for anything... and it is such a gorgeous name!!

But upon reading your other names I also like Saskia... I have a friend who just named her bubba this...... she doesnt have a nickname as yet, everyone calls her saskia

I voted for Liv/Olivia but my fave out of all of them is Saskia. I actually know a Saskia IRL. She is in her mid twenties and is super cool and stylish. She sometimes goes by the nickname Sass, which is fun. I have a somewhat rose tainted view of the name Saskia :D

I like Leilani - which is slightly different to Lelaina.

Out of them all, though, I like Lily the best. Although it's VERY popular these days, I can see why because it's gorgeous.

Oh I love Liv it is one of our choices if we have a girl. Probably Olivia but as a PP mentioned you can use it on its own. I love that it can be Livy as a child and Liv as a grown up. Suits both well:)
Saskia is a good friends daughters name so i love that too. She gets Sass and Sassy for short which are so cute on her.

I picked Liv and Carmen.
I love Liv and would either have the 'formal' name as Olivia or just Livia.

I've always like Carmen as well, unfortunately the irish accent just doesn't do it justice. It's much more beautiful when said with a spanish accent...Carrrrrmen.

Thanks for all of your feedback on my names!! We decided to find out the sex and had our 20 week scan today - it's a boy.

However just in case they got it wrong my husband has ended up saying the only name on my lists he likes is Carmen. So that is our back up girls name. Now to concentrate on our boys shortlist.

ps choosing names has been easy for us since each time hubby has only liked one of my suggestions!! Annoying but handy too I guess. Better than him liking none of them I guess.
