Thanks Goosie,

I just wanted to say that. Ive been expressing for over 5 weeks now! My supply is great, Oliver is happy, I am happy, and I can even freeze him an extra feed every day or two.

I only breastfeed once per day (so that if I NEED to BF him at any time, he still knows how), but the information you gave me on expressing has ment that I can be a good mum to him, and kind to myself.

In the 11 weeks since he has been born, he has only had three feeds of formula....one before I started expressing, and 2 since...only then because I wanted to go somewhere and I didnt have enough expressed.

Ive even got a car kit for my pump now, so that if we are going away for the day I can "do it" on the way. :)

6 times per day....7 if my supply is dropping....going great. So thank you for all the advice!!!!

Anyone else want to thank this information guru...feel free to add on!

No thanks needed, its my pleasure.

Thanks should go to you women who value the importance of human milk for your little ones, and fight tooth and nail to have success.

Thanks to you from your babies:hugs:

Goosie, I know you get a hard rap sometimes (ie one thread recently), but you do give great advice for us mums who are having problems and want to keep feeding our bubs as long as we can....

9 weeks down!!! Still going!

I am introducing a bottle of formula at night from last night onwards, to help give me a bit of a break, but Mr Oliver is going great guns, he's nice and healthy and so far hasnt had a proper cold....although Steven and I have both been sick 3 times since he was born! :)

I presume this means the one that I was a part of! Just wanted to clarify that I PMd Goosie and apologised if it seemed like I "attacked her". I would have done it on the thread, but it was closed. So here it is... in public for all bubhubbers to see. Goosie also helped me with a new query I had so I would like to thank her for that too.

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

See....I'm not completely evil, just a bit hypersensitive at the moment! And congrats to all the ladies out there who have persevered with their bubs. I hope to join your ranks with my next bubba.

Thanks Mischief and really dont be too hard on yourself hazel79 When things dont work out it can be a very emotional issue, and as I said the odds are stacked against anyone succeeding really. There isnt a real lot of help freely available that is actually helpful and Breastfeeding friendly:hugs: .
