Hi There

My family and I (me, partner and 2yo son) have just moved to Darwin a couple of weeks ago from Adelaide. The plan is stay for around three years. He is enrolled at the Essington Childcare for one day a week with the intention of doing the Toddler Program and Preschool next year. I have started going to the Fun Bus, story times at the library etc which is great but I would love to join a playgroup so that I can also get to know and enjoy some adult conversation and company. I know there is the Playgroup Association but I thought I would put my "feelers" out there first to see whats around. I really love the Montessori method but that is certainly not a necessity to joining a playgroup. If anyone knows of any good playgroups that would be great.

By the way we live in the Nightcliff area but don't mind a little travel if necessary.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Mel

Hi Mel,

My wife and 4 kids (13,10 and 4yo twins) moved to Darwin a couple of weeks ago too. We're over in Palmerston. Whilst there's a couple of years difference between your son and our twins, I know my wife would love the opportunity for some daytime adult chat over a coffee!

That sounds great.:) It would just be nice to be able to have an adult conversation! I will email you privately with further details.

Thanks for your reply.
