Pill with medication.. conceiving afterwards??

Hey, I've been ttc for awhile, but have recently had to go back on the pill for medication reasons :(, which I've stopped (medication) but am continuing to take the pill just in case for another month and a half.

What can I expect when I stop?? How long after taking it can you try to conceive (my mum conceived on the pill and blames it for learning delays and such with my younger brother) so im kinda paranoid about it. :confused:

Im on Triphasil which I've never been on before, and I dont know what to expect. When do i stop taking it, the red pills or can I just stop mid-cycle when I feel ready?

If anybody could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

I remember my doc telling me to wait 3 months after coming off the pill so your cycle has time to get sorted out. I think it's supposed to be so you've had enough cycles to know if they are regular and so you know the dates if you do conceive. I don't think there's any reason health wise though.

I can't remember if you can just stop wherever in the pack. I waited till I got to the sugar pills and then just stopped.

I have really bad acne that im so sick of so I've decided to stop it early. I have an acupuncture appointment in 2 weeks to help get my body regular.

I'll still wait for 3 or so months, just in case.
