Dekker is the best and most experienced doc in that place,...... he is fantastic. his daughter is also an ob aswell. i was classed as high risk to and seen him through out my pregnancy. i just had an antibody issue but a rare one and he was the only person that knew what it was all the registrar and midwifes had no idea. he is great and straight to the point.... hides nothing from you, which is what i liked most

He is honestly great, you are in good hands! I was low risk through out all 3 pregnancies so didn't get to meet him until they couldn't get the placenta out after my third. No other doctors knew what was going on and I was in and out of surgery and no one could get it out until they called professor Dekker in. He was very nice but also very honest and upfront. He instantly discovered I had placenta accretta which meant the placenta had actually grown through the lining and grown into the muscle in the wall of my uterus and he managed to get it out first try. If it wasn't for him I would have had to have a hysterectomy to save my life because of the amount of blood I was loosing.

I have nothing but praise for this man!!!
At 14 weeks my gp thought that i was losing my baby because i had severe lower abdominal pain. I went into Womens health, saw him, he immediatly told me i wasnt having a miscarriage and had me admitted immediatly cause they couldnt diagnose initaly what was wrong, Eventually it was diagnosed that my ligaments were stretching about 8 weeks earlier than they should have been.
I then saw him again about 6 weeks ago in Womens health as i was having head spins and then vagueing out. He Diagnosed me with Epilepsy and got me in to see a specialist within a week.
He was very friendly, curtous and answered all questions thoroughly. He was even fantastic with the fact my DP and i arent the conventional parents to me as we are a lesbian couple.

Conventional parents or not as long as you do the best of both your ability thats all that matters.
I have seen professor Dekker 2x now and he has been great. He is very understanding and is supportive of what i want not what he wants.
