Hiya Ladies,

I know quite a few of us have toddlers and our newest additions to transport, so for the ones who have a double pram what do you have and do you like it? Pro's/Cons?

I went out and bought a P&T sports and my two just hate it. So I am considering something cheapish to cover us until DD is completely out of it.

TIA

Sorry Cheerio but I've got the P & T e3! Got it off ebay as I couldn't afford new.

It's OK so far although now it's getting hotter I'm worried about my 9 week old being underneath and getting hot. Hopefully it will be better once I move the seat around to the back (when she can sit up) as it'll be cooler for her but then I'm worried about the sun!!

Sorry I couldn't offer any advice but I'll be watching this thread for sure :)

I've never liked the P&T's, as I feel sorry for the child stuck underneath. (no offence intended to anyone that has one)

I've gone with the ABC adventure buggy, which is actually made by the same people, but def not cheap, so can't help you there.

I've seen a few doubles in big w that weren't that much. Not sure how good they are, but might be worth having a look.

What about a single pram with one of those skate board things. Would she stand on that?

We have a valco twin runabout with toddler seat :D. It's a huge monster of a thing, but not much out there was cheap (got it second hand) and able to accomodate 3!

For DD & DS we had the P&T and I am going to use it again once the twins are older as I love it! IT cracks me up when people say they feel sorry for the kid at the back (no offense taken - lol) because once DS was a bit older they would fight over who sat in there! It is meant to be the smaller child but there is only a couple of kg diff between my 2, and they both loved it.

We also have a side by side steelcraft duo, but it was really hard to steer with heavy 16kg DS on one side and a 4kg bub on the other. And DS's legs were long enough to touch the wheel and slow me down - very painful!

I have one called one step aheap sit and stand.. its great as we have a capsule for bubs (it only has a partial recline and straight though) capsule clicks in and you have a choice for the toddler either the seat, a jump seat or standing ..
here is the website (http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=6793&parentCategoryId=85184&categoryId=85219&subCategoryId=86216).. not available here but once in a while it pops up on ebay
i think the closest thing to it here it the baby love sit and stand. (http://www.productreview.com.au/showitem.php?item_id=31244)

Peg Pegero Twin Aria, LOVE IT. It weighs only 8kgs, is easy to open and close, and is side by side. RRP about $600, i got mine second hand (un-used condition) for $250!
