need some advice

i think i am going insane. please i hope someone can shed some light.
cycle start date was 17/07/09, i ovulate according to opk's on 11th august. my luteal phase is 11/12days normal and whole cycles are 37days normally. we bd'd on 3rd/ 7th/ 12th of august. today is 24th august and af hasnt arrived yet. i have done a few(ok, lots) of hpt's of varying brands and all either have no second line or the faintest of faint line.
am i testing too early? should i wait ti out a little more?
on sat(22nd aug) night had a small amount of bleeding, a drop of blood maybe, and now nothing. am feeling a bit crampy but no show for af.
any help would be much appreciated.

Um, not sure if I can give you a definitive answer but I couldn't stand to let you suffer alone!! :laughing: It could still be a little early for a definite positive for you. I know that some women on bubhub don't get their BFPs until a few days after AF is due. Unfortunately the only answer is to wait another few days and test again. I guess if you're really desperate (and you have a good doctor) you could go for a blood test....

thank you for your reply. means alot as i cant trelly talk about with anyone as no one irl knows we are ttc. i know no one can give me a definative answer but i wasnt really sure if i was missing something or if i was jumping the gun a little. so for the next few days im going to be crazy waiting one way or another. i wish i was a male in times like this, dh says"if it happens it will happen, if it doesnt it wont"

I know its really hard to wait, I have a long cycle too - 35ish days and I always get BFN for a week or two after when others would be getting BFPs! very frustrating but knowing that I just dont test. With DD I had 12 negative tests (all two days apart) before the faint positive. DS I had a friend who works in a lab take a sample in for me as it was doing my head in! Now I just act as if I am preg. until I either get AF or give in and test atleast a week after AF is due! Good luck and I hope you get your BFP soon!!
