If you would like to see abortion decriminalised, please sign this petition:

(Note - considering how many people think that a man should not have to pay child support if a woman 'chooses' to continue a pregnancy, I have no doubt that many people will be signing this petition from BH.)

As far as I knew, I thought it isn't a criminal offence here? seeing as though there are abortion clinics...

We have abortion clinics in town, but only to a certain stage in the pregnancy. I wouldn't like to see it changed from what it is now.

Yes there have been a few threads about it lately, so maire was taking the p!ss. Someone claimed that because women have access to abortion, men shouldn't have to pay child support.


Oh good to see you back BTW. Havn't seen you around in a long time? I often think about debates we used to have and I thank you for enlightening me and making me think differently on some issues.:)

I would sign if I was in QLD. A good friend of mine was ganged raped a few years ago and it ended in an unwanted pregnancy. She chose to abort because she didnt want a daily reminder of that night.

Just a reminder that while this is a topic that can easily become a passionate argument. The use of the more graphic version of words is simply not tolerated.
