Hello, i just wanted to know what other 5mnth old routines were like, do ur bubs still wake frequently at night?how much do they sleep during the day?::confused:
My DD is 5 and a half months and her routine looks something like this:
Wake up- 6:30am
Bottle- 7am
Solids- 8am
Sleep- 9am for about 1.5-2hrs
Bottle- 11am
Sleep- 1pm for about 1-1.5hrd
Bottle- 3pm
Sleep- 4pm for about 45mins
Solids- 5pm
Bath, Book and cuddles with daddy- 6pm
Bottle and Bed- 7pm
She doesn't normally wake through the night and if she does She goes straight back to sleep once we give her her dummy.

DS is 5 1/2 months... we go with the flow, but roughly he has maybe 2 x 2 hourish naps during the day and then sleeps for 4 -5 hours at night on a good night between feeds. I do have three older children though so have had to wake him up at times to do the school run.

sounds fine 2 me. If your bubs is sleeping through the night thats all that matters. My little one is not on solids and still breast fed but has been sleeping all threw the night since 10week. However after his 4month needles he didnt sleep for a couple of nights and last weeks has 4night that he didnt sleep due 2 a cold. I think your doing a GREAT job!!:yelclap:

Thanks to those who replied, bubs has only 2 x20min naps during the day and feeds 2 hourly. He also has recently not slept for more than 2.5 hours at night waking about frequently for feeds and resettling totaling 5 or more times and it is exhausting. He has never been a great day sleeper but lately his nights have worsened i used to get at least 3.5 hour blocks of sleep. For some reason he wakes most frequently early in the night every half hour to hour up until about 2:30am where he can then sleep until 5:30-6ish.
Is there anyone out there whose bub is still feeding this often in the day?:(
