theres probably already a thread somewhere about this but i jus wantd to know whose expecting in august im due the 28th of august, i was born on the 20th of august and my mum was born 16th of august!!! yay not long left!!!:smiliedance:

I am with you both on the whole "sleeping" thing, or lack there of. As everyone keeps telling me though, it is supposedly preparing us for when our bubbies arrive. Doesn't make me feel any better in the meantime though!

Well i am due on the 8th and had been feeling all along that she would come early. Well i started drinking my rasberry leaf tea this week when i reached 38 weeks and still nothing. I am still just a bit over a week away, so still hopeful. Lets see how we go. If the weather is good this weekend....lots of walking ahead for me. Hopefully that helps....Oh...and sex too :laughing:

Hang in there guys. My best tip on the whole sleep thing is to NOT have any afternoon naps no matter how tierd you are. It is when i do this that i find i have a horrible nights sleep.

I don't take afternoon naps, and usually fall asleep within an hour at night. But I keep waking up every 2 to 3 hours - seems like my baby girl sleeps during the day! Luckily I can sleep in to make up the hours. :sleeping:

When I can't sleep, I do tend to get a bit anxious about the whole birth and labour thing... and how I'd be doing as a new mum (hopefully maternal instincts will develop by then! :laughing: )

MGee, I really like the name Chelsea! Our baby girl will have a middle name starting with "O" and surname starting with "W" so we decided not to pick any name starting with "C" otherwise I would have picked Chelsea too!

nkwok thats funny yeh you have to be careful you dont wanna be spelling anythin bad, i usually only nap on weekends when i go out and i jus cant help but fall asleep its horrible, i started taking rasberry leaf tablets as well im 36wks on monday so maybe in two weeks or so she'll b nice and come a lil early...:thumbsup:

Hi guys! Im due 20th august, and am going out of my mind waiting and waiting, even though I know I have a few weeks left i just wish I could meet him now! I was having afternoon naps and they made me feel worse, and I am having so much trouble getting up the next day i feel so exhausted. Still not long to go, I just have to be more patient!! Being excited makes it worse cause the time just crawls on by.
Im just trying to relax and enjoy the quiet time as much as possible because you never know he could come early :fingerscrossed:
Having bub sitting on my bladder/pelvic floor makes it worse cause you feel like you should be living on the toilet lol.
