At the expo on Saturday, I tried a baba sling and LOVED it for the time I had it on. For people who own one, is it good for long term use? Is it worth the small fortune (to me) that it costs?

I already own a front pack carrier which DS doesn't mind, but a sling I could use to feed in is what I realy need. How well does breastfeeding and the baba sling go together?

if u don't want to spend too much money - make your own ;)

i got a strip of flanelette about 3m long & tied a knot & use that as my sling. i get lots of positive comments from ppl & q seems to love it. here's the site that gave me the idea, shows u how to tie it & how to position bubs. the great thing is, u don't even need to sew a stitch!! ;)

& there are plenty of other ideas on that site :)

Ive bought one to use with this next bubby so hopefully it gets a lot of use! I used my baby carrier a lot with my first bub but it was a really impractical one, unlike the baba sling.
