Can you ovulate on CD 8 of a 29 day cycle?

Not sure if I know what CD means but if you mean day 8, then yes you can ovulate and it will be a very short cycle.

Hi oli&bella'smum

I just finished my first af after my m/c. It went for about 7 days, stopped then next day I had almost full ferning on my maybe baby, BUT then couple of days later I had af. I don't think it had completely finished  I also asked the same question as you are. I guess it could be possible, our bodies arn't perfect and every woman's cycle is unique. If you are TTC then I'd say just BD justtttttt incase!!!!

Sorry could'nt of been more help!!

Hi Olivias&BellasMummy  ,

I didn't think it was possible until a friend of mine said she had a "normal" (I'm guessing 28 day cycle) and ovulated right after AF had finished - approx. day 9!!! She was assuming she was ovulating around day 14 but wasn't falling pregnant. When she paid more attention she realised it was very early on that she ovulated and fell pregnant the next month! A long leutal phase.

I agree with Leilani that nothing's impossible when it comes to a woman's cycle, and it could be an unusually long luteal phase (ie 8 days longer!!!). But it would be very unusual.

I ovulate on day 10 according to my last two cycles. Then have a long 33 day luteal phase
