there are some good ones, You just have to look around and it all depends on the area you move to.

I know a few as I work in childcare and hear alot about the different schools.

Depends on what suburb you are in or how far you are willing to travel.

Oh and also do you want public or private?

I know that Tallebudgera SS has a GREAT rep!

Its smaller than most and I think thats why most parents love it. Not sure how it is for children with SN though. You would have to enquire to see if they have a SEP/SEU.

The one thing I have noticed in ALL schools within QLD is that *generally* state schools are better equiped/more experienced and recieve more funding for children with SN! :)

I would recommend Burleigh Heads State School. They also have a website you can browse too.

They have a Special Education Unit http://burlheadss.eq.edu.au/wcmss/index.php/SEU.html

Hi,
I'm a public secondary teacher but the other mums at work have highly recommended Benowa (public). I think you have to live in the area to go there though.
Hope this helps!

my 8 year old ds goes to merrimac primary and we love it, its on the smaller side so the classes are smaller, the staff rock and the school itself is gorgeous, really green and natural, its called the country school in the city
