So I SWEAR I was watching my 13 months old like a hawk but she is so darn quick! :hair: We were in the back yard and she ate a handful of vege garden dirt, the thing is it was full of composted cow poo (my veges are growing brilliantly!) I'm so worried, my little sister got soooo sick when she was a toddler from eating potting mix, should I be freaking out prematurely?

Anyone? DO I just need to take a chill pill? lol
Potting mix has some pretty nasty stuff in it so a call to the poison's line probably wouldn't go a stray.
Not trying to scare you, but I know you're supposed to wear gloves when handling potting mix so I'd be ringing and checking incase you need to do anything
oh no! you poor thing i would have died. Do you have any freinds that may know a bit about compost (i know that sounds silly but they might be able to tell you if it is harmfull) good luck

I think a call might be a good idea. But I wouldn't freak out! It's highly likely nothing more will happen to her than a dirty mouth!
:hugs:

Thanks lovelies! I gave Poisons info a call... might give her an upset tummy but no more nasty than that :yelclap: I just remembered how sick my sister got and had a minor freak out! Thanks

Glad to hear all is good! Our DD ate fresh goats poo at about 18mths of age...I was torn between being completely horrified & absolutely terrified
