cow's milk of toddler formula at 12 months?

I've planned to give my 11 month old cow's milk wen he turns 12 months. However, I've been looking at some toddler formulas and they seem to have lots of added nutrients. I'm trying to decide which to give my bub in a couple of weeks. he is currently on Nan 2 HA Gold.

What did you give your babies at 12 months?

Jazz has been on cows milk since 11months as she hated formula and as soon as she had cows milk that was it (my mum gave it to her while i was out)she refused any formula after that..i did worry about the iron she was missing out on so i make sure she eats red meat and some Vit C at the same time as this helps the iron absorb. Im actually thinking about getting some vitamins for her. Someone said Pentavite are good if you are worried about the vitamins and minerals that they dont get from cows milk.

Thanks Jazzy'smum! I also wondered what vitamin supplement I may give if I do decide to give my DS cow's milk, particulary iron and vit c. I will keep Pentavite in mind :)

DD has toddler formula as she won't drink cows milk.

We went straight to cows milk at 12 months. No dramas. :)

My 2 both went onto cows milk at 12 months with no problems, i also give them multivitamins every day.

I give my 10 month old cows milk with no problems at all. Much easier to use especially when making cereals, custards ....etc..... He has 3 bottles of cows milk a day.

DD1 went straight onto cows milk at1 2 months, but DD2 will go onto toddler formula, as she isn't into her solids much. As it is she's already having an iron supplement....

I went onto cows milk with no problems but then DS became a bit of a fussy eater not wanting to eat veggies or much meat so Ive been giving him Heinz toddler formula for the extra nutrients just in his nightime bottle, and cows milk on his cereal...he doesnt have milk or formula during the day
