Trying to find out about DS's weight and it struck me that his poos are fairly liquid always, but I'm pretty sure they were more "paste" consistency earlier on.
What consistency is average for a 4mth breastfed baby?

Luke's poos are pretty much the same now as they were at about 1 month (he's 3 and a half months). He is doing less than he was, was doing about 5 a day, now 2 or 3 a day. Consistency varies a little, sometimes they are like cake mixture or maybe pikelet mixture (sorry can't think of anything else to describe that consistency), sometimes maybe a bit more runny...
peanut butter, pretty much until you introduce solids or teething starts happening.

LOL! Cake mix, pikelet mix, and peanut butter!
Well to keep the food theme going I'd say his are more like mango chicken curry sauce.

  Loving the food theme too!!
DS (who has big gains and eats more than DD) is more like mango curry sauce - 3 or so a day maybe, sometimes a tad green from when the piglet has just had a drink and not fed for long.
DD only goes once a day, and has smaller gains than DS (she is now 500g less than him, and she was born 100g heavier - they are 3months) hers are probably piklet mix consistency, and BOY do they smell!! DS's hardly smell at all.

 lovely, will think of this thread next time i eat some of the items listed!!!
DD's looked like seeded mustard still, depending on what i had eaten also, they seemed to change from pasty to quite watery. If something had upset her tummy they were more on the greenish tinge side, but normal without tummy upset they were yellow, just like mustard ( and stained my lovely white cloth nappies, till they got a full day of sun!)
And yep they were pretty smelly. She was a once a week'er for a while and boy they were big pooplosions!!! (always when out of course)
Think ( as far as i remember) the other kids poo was pretty much the same, very yellow and grainy/seedy looking. With varying consistency.
BUT i did notice a change in poo when teeth were coming, they seemed to poo more frequently, like a few times a day for 3-4 days, then bingo...a tooth.
