I think I would have to be the most uninventive parent in the world, or I have hit a bit of a lull lately.

Does anyone have any suggestions for activities/games/toys for my little 16 month old? I think some of his behaviour might be related to boredom??? We'll see if any changes make any difference?
Thanks!

i got a book called 350 free activites for toddlers, its pretty good. My sons favourite at the moment (he is 18mths) is i put masking tape along the carpet (check a small spot first to make sure it wont ruin the carpet) and we pretend thats a road and run all his cars along it....keeps him amused for a little while anyway. Apart from that im still learnign too!!!!

I'm pretty sure there are a few past threads on this but at 16 months, my son enjoyed:

. Sitting in a sandpit with some toys ('Shell' sandpits like ours are only $19.95 at K-Mart at the moment, we have ours on the verandah)
. Playing with plastic bowls and spoons from the kitchen with a big tub of water
. Playing in the yard or at the park with a big soccer ball
. Wandering around the yard looking at bugs and flowers

All simple luxuries at that age
