what part of Melbourne are you looking in? I don't know if it's too far for you but I have heard wonderful things about the Mercy's birthing unit. Apparently very gay friendly. Perhaps they could point you in the direction of a private OB if that is what you are looking for? Perhaps also contact the ALMA or rainbow families perhaps? ... just some thoughts.
