I am a stay at home mum and sometimes it drives me nuts :D I live in Springfield Lakes and I have been in the brissie area for over 2 years, It is just my wonderful partner and our 2 boys...( 3 and 18 mth ) We don't have a network of friends here, well he does.... but i don't..... and i really feel I need that.....

I am a new member and am currently in Melbourne but will be moving to South of Brisbane in February 2006.

I am 33 and have a son Anthony, who is 2 (& a bit), my husband is moving for work reasons. I have no family and friends (yet) in Brisi. I am an Engineer but will be finishing up work to try for a second baby (great career move).

I would love to get some advice re: Brisbane on suburbs to rent/buy a house, schools, playgroups, toy libraries, etc.., Possible areas: Mt Gravatt, Carindale, Coorparoo, Camphill, Carina and Carina Heights.

Can anyone help?
